SEA TROUT

Names:	Spotted Sea Trout, Speckled Trout, Speck, Gator Trout
description:	Specks are straight and elongated, large mouth with large front teeth. Usually dark back with gray or silver sides marked with black spots
Size:	Average size is 1 -2 pounds but 5 to 8 pounds is not rare. The world's record is 17 pounds 7 ounces.
Food Quality:	Very Good
Fight:	Trout are more aggressive than powerful, usually running side to side they will sometimes jump and thrash at the surface.
Tackle:	Spinning is used most widely. Live shrimp and small livebait work as well.
